Please be advised that the climate of Larissa is Mediterranean, with mild, rainy winters and hot, sunny summers. The daily average temperature ranges from 2°C to 15°C during wintertime (December to February) and from 25°C to 35 °C during summer time (June to August).
From mid-March to May, the climate is mild and the rains are gradually becoming rarer.
In September and October, there may still be some rainy days.

Pre-payment is required to guarantee reservations. How far ahead the payment is required and how far ahead you can cancel the reservation free of charge will depend on your stay dates and the offer under which you have booked.

How do I pay for my reservation?
Once your reservation is complete, the reservations team will send you a secure credit card authorization form through which you can settle the payment via your credit card. Alternatively, we do accept bank transfers as well.

What are the payment methods while in the city?
Credit card/Debit Card payment as well as Cash payments are accepted in the city. As for credit cards VISA, American Express and MasterCard are accepted. For Cash payments, Euros (up to 500€ are accepted).

What is the standard mode of Airport transfer to Grecotel Larisa Imperial?
Grecotel Larisa Imperial can arrange taxi transfers for Arrival & Departure from and to “Makedonia” International Airport for all guests with extra charge. The journey will be approximately 100-120 minutes to access the hotel from the Airport. 

What types of vehicles are used for the airport transfers?
Up to 3 passengers: TAXI SEDAN, MERCEDES C or E-CLASS
From 4-14 passengers MINI VANS: MERCEDES VITO, V-CLASS, SPRINTER

How can Larissa Town be reached?
•    There is bus station in front of the hotel to Larissa City Center – buses pass every 15 minutes. The cost of the ticket is 1.50€ per person per way.

Are all the restaurants operational?
Imperial Restaurant operates daily on an A la Carte basis for lunch or dinner 12:00am-23:30pm (last order at 23:15). Lobby Bar with an exclusive list of drinks and snacks operates daily from 08:00 to 00:00. Pool Bar operates during summer (June to September) 12:00 – 20:00 offering a large variety of drinks, cocktails, and snacks.

Do you have Baby food meal plan?
0-1 toddlers will have arranged their baby food as you wish. Please contact the Restaurant Manager to order in advance. Our staff is happy to lend a hand with warming baby bottles or baby food. 

Do we need to book the restaurants in advance?
It is recommended to book restaurants in advance to ensure the availability.

Can we book restaurants prior to arrival?

Is there any dress-code for the Restaurants?
Daytime: Casual. Cover‐ups are required for breakfast and lunch. Footwear is always required in restaurants & bars.
Evening: Smart Casual. No beachwear or shorts in the evening. Gentlemen – long trousers and shirts with sleeves (short or long) are required in all restaurants & bars. Swimwear and flip-flops are discouraged at all our restaurants.

Can we arrange a Private Dinner?

What should I have with me upon the check-in?
Your ID card or Passport and the credit card you have used to book your reservation.

Is it possible to enter my room prior to check-in?
If the room is unoccupied, the hotel may approve earlier entrance. However, if you are planning to arrive early in the morning and you want to ensure that the room is ready, we suggest that you book an additional overnight prior to your arrival.

May I use the Hotel’s Facilities before my check-in or after my check-out?
All the Hotel’s Facilities are available to Grecotel Larissa Imperial guests to be used by the time you arrive in the hotel.

If I arrive before my check-in time, can I drop my bag somewhere?
Larissa Imperial provides you with a luggage area where you can safely store your luggage and personal belongings.

Is it possible to have a confirmed late check out?
A late check-out may be confirmed at the reception. There are different options with applicable charges to choose from according to the availability the hotel shall have. However, if you are planning to depart rather late and you want to ensure that the room would be possible to be kept, we suggest that you book in advance an overnight with your reservation.

What is the environmental tax am I obligated to pay it?
An environmental fee, defined as Climate Crisis Resilience Fee, of €4,00 per room per night is applicable by law, payable by the guest directly at the hotel upon check out.
For stays between March 1st and until October 31st this environmental fee is adjusted at €10,00 per room per night, payable by the guest directly at the hotel upon check out.
 
Can we have twin beds in the Superior Guest Room Hotel/Garden View or Pool View of the Main Building?
Superior Guest Rooms Hotel/Garden view have this feature of twin beds or queen size bed available upon request. Superior Guest Rooms Pool View are twin bedded. Kindly inform us about your wish prior to your arrival.

Is there coffee or tea in the room?
Tea & Coffee Facilities are available on selected room types. All suites are equipped with Nespresso coffee machine and capsules (2 capsules complimentary daily, daily replenishment of instant coffee and tea). Feel free to let us know if you wish to have fresh milk for tea.

Up to how many people (both adults and children) a Family Executive Suite Pool View can accommodate?
The standard occupancy in a Family Executive Suite is 4 persons. Up to 2 extra beds (or baby cots) can be added upon request.

Do all hotel rooms come with a balcony?
In the main building of the Hotel, all rooms on the 1st floor have balconies. In Bungalows, ground floor rooms have a terrace and 1st floor rooms have a balcony.

How much do you charge for an extra child in a Execuitve Suite Garden or Pool View?
A child up to 12 years old can be accommodated in a suite (at an extra bed) free of charge. In the event of a second child, an additional extra bed can be added at an extra cost of 20,00 € per night.

What is the size of the extra bed?
All our extra beds are 190 cm in length and 85 cm in width and can accommodate an extra person should the room occupancy be allowed to be accommodated.

Is it possible to arrange 2 x Suites next to each other?
If the booking is made in advance, we can certainly arrange two suites next to each other or the closest as possible according to the type and availability.

Can you confirm a certain room number or location?
A request can be made once the reservation is confirmed. We shall do our utmost to accommodate the request as per availability.

How far are the Bungalows located from the main building?
The distance from Bungalow rooms to Hotel’s main building is between 15 – 45 meters.

Can there be twin beds in the Family Executive Suite Pool View?
Yes, there is queen size bed and 2 twin beds in the second bedroom.

How many bathrooms are there in the Suites?
All our suites have one-bathroom, additional w.c. may be available according to Execuitve Suite Pool View. The Family Executive Suite has 2 bathrooms.

How often are the bed sheets and towels changed?
Implementing measures of natural resources management with the aim of improving the local environment, bed sheets and towels are changed after the second day of your stay. However, in case you want them to be changed daily, you may place the designated label in the room.

Does the hotel provide Iron & Ironing board in the room?
Iron and ironing boards are available for our guests and can be delivered to their room upon request for a limited length of time for security reasons.

Is there a safety deposit box in the room?
All room types offer a safety deposit box.

What plug adapter do I need to bring with me?
The power plugs and sockets in the hotel are of type C. Type C consists of two round parallel pins while the wall plug has two holes where it is connected. The standard voltage is 220 V.

Is there an exchange office at the reception desk?
No, you can exchange cash notes in the city center.

Is there an ATM machine in the hotel premises?
There is not an ATM machine located in the hotel. The nearest ATM is 500 meters.

Is the hotel accessible to Mobility Impaired Guests?
All departments are accessible to guests in wheelchairs. There are ramp sections beside most of the steps in the hotel. There are also rooms accessible in wheelchairs.

Are pets allowed in the hotel?
Small pets (dogs) up to 8kg are permitted only in Bungalow Garden View rooms. Guests should inform the reservations department about the pet’s accommodation request upon booking. A pet fee of 20.00€ per night applies.

It is recommended to book Imperial Health Spa treatments a week in advance to guarantee the preferred timing.

Do you have Male Therapists?
We do not have Male therapists at Imperial Health Spa.

Do you have a salon at the SPA?
We do have a salon at Imperial Health Spa.

Do you have a Sauna, do I have to book?
We do have sauna at Imperial Health Spa. No prior reservation is required. 

Do you have a gym?
We have a fully equipped gym.

Do you have a medical facility in the city?
We do have 2 public hospitals, and private clinics in the city.

KIDS CLUB

Do you have a kid’s club?
At Grecotel Larissa Imperial we do not have a Kids Club. However, designated children entertainment programs are taking place during festive periods (Christmas and Greek Easter).

Is it possible to book a babysitting service?
Babysitting service can be booked upon request at an extra charge.
